Robert Barnard Reception

The reception held to celebrate the work of the late Robert Barnard (1922-2010),  a former professor of art at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, took place Thursday, February 4 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Betty Ray McCain gallery at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts.  Despite the rain, a great crowd attended to view the 20 large-scale paintings.  Attendees were highly impressed by North Carolina Symphony’s harpist, Anita Bouroughs-Price, and a big thanks is due to the City of Raleigh for providing a lovely array of refreshments.
