Lee Hansley Gallery opened in 1993 to showcase the best in contemporary American art for collectors in the triangle and throughout North Carolina. A primary focus of the gallery is to encourage collecting amongst individuals. With years of experience in corporate art consultation and independent curatorial work, we also serve the business and corporate communities. But the backbone of this gallery remains the individual collector.

We invite you to join the gallery’s Collectors’ Club, a service which makes collecting art affordable and accessible to a wide audience. The Collectors’ Club offers an interest free extended payment program for purchasing quality works of art for your home or work environment. Select works from our rotating exhibition schedule or ask us about works by our stable of over 35 professional artists from North Carolina, the south-east and the nation.

The Gallery is owned and operated by Lee Hansley, a former curator at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem. He was an Art Advisor to the Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States in New York City for 5 Years.
