Three Paths in Fiber

Hollis Chatelain | Barbara Oliver Hartman | Ann Harwell

The three artists featured in this exhibition are colleagues and friends. Each has her own individual approach to working in fiber. Hollis Chatelain, who lives in Hillsborough, exhibits nationally and internationally; her work has been rarely seen in North Carolina. Barbara Oliver Hartman, who lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and Ann Harwell, who lives in Wake County, exhibit their works frequently in national invitational and juried exhibitions. Most imagery of works by artists in this exhibition is derived from observations from nature. Each artist has created her own unique approach to working with fiber and to interpreting the world around them.

Opening reception is Sunday 9th 2-5pm
The exhibition will be shown thru October 13th
