The current exhibition features the works of two artists from Durham.  John Beerman Paintings features 34 oil paintings, some on paper and some on canvas that depict scenes from North Carolina, Texas, and upstate New York. Beerman, who has developed a national reputation for his atmospheric paintings is perhaps best known for “Three Trees, Two Clouds” on exhibit now at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Conrad Weiser : Raku is an exhibtion of raku fired ceramics, many of which are in surprisingly bright colors and patterns. Most of the works in the Weiser show are asian inspired lidded jars with ceramics stands.
Both exhibitions are on view through May 17th.

The public reception will be held on Sunday, April 2nd from 2pm-5pm.
